{"id":3974,"date":"2014-11-10T22:31:30","date_gmt":"2014-11-10T21:31:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.maurograziani.org\/wordpress\/?p=3974"},"modified":"2025-08-22T18:11:42","modified_gmt":"2025-08-22T16:11:42","slug":"320-licht","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maurograziani.org\/wordpress\/archives\/3974","title":{"rendered":"320\u00b0 Licht"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/91599638?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The \u2018320\u00b0 Licht\u2019 installation of URBANSCREEN uses the cathedral-like beauty of the Gasometer as the starting point for a fascinating game with shapes and light.<\/p>\n<p>Within a radius of 320 degrees graphic patterns grow and change on the 100-metre high inside wall of the Gasometer.<\/p>\n<p>The observer experiences the interplay between real and virtual space, in which the Gasometer seems to dissolve into its own, filigree structures and yet finally always reverts to its clear shape. \u2019320\u00b0 Licht\u2019 has been achieved with kind project support from Epson Germany.<\/p>\n<p>With approx 20,000 square meters of area played upon, the installation is among the world\u2019s largest and technically most sophisticated interior projections &#8211; interconnecting 21 powerful projectors to one projection screen.<\/p>\n<p>Duration (loop): approx. 22 min.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;320\u00b0 Licht&#8217; is part of the exhibition \u2018The Appearance of Beauty\u2019 &#8211; the variety of beauty in art that is shown inside the Gasometer.
